Home Visits only by arrangement under special circumstances e.g. dog unable to travel will be subject to a supplement depending on distance.

I allow 1 hour for appointments. I initially observe the dog and allow them to sniff around and relax a little. I then do a hands-on assessment if possible and initial treatment depends on findings but may include massage, exercises and Laser (photobiomodulation) if required. 

I also give an initial home exercise programme.

Frequency of follow-up appointments is agreed upon depending on my findings.

Note: As per the Veterinary Surgeons (Exemptions) Order 2015) remedial treatment by ‘physiotherapy’ requires delegation by a veterinary surgeon who has first examined the animal.

Practitioners must have a referral from the vet if an animal is unwell or injured, a diagnosis has been made and/or the animal is under veterinary care for any pathology.

• Practitioners do not need a referral for a healthy animal to receive performance-enhancing MSK care.
• Practitioners do not need a referral for a healthy animal to receive general health and well-being maintenance care.
